Here are detailed instructions for registering on the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT), selecting the XXVII Standing Conference of Eastern, Central, and Southern African Library and Information Associations (SCECSAL) Conference 2026, and submitting papers: All full papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

Step One

Step 1: Access the SCECSAL Conference Website

✅ Open your web browser and go to the SCECSAL Conference 2025 website.
✅ Look for the button labeled "Register Here" on the homepage or the relevant section for paper submissions.
✅ Click this button, which will redirect you to the CMT registration page:

Step 2: Create a CMT Account

On the CMT registration page, complete the form as follows:

A. Login Information
✅ Email Address: Enter your active email address.
✅ Password: Create a strong password (e.g., Example@2025).
✅ Confirm Password: Re-enter the same password for confirmation.

B. Personal Information
✅ First Name: Enter your first name.
✅ Last Name: Enter your last name.
✅ Affiliation: Enter your organization or institution (e.g., University of Library Sciences).
✅ Country/Region: Select your country from the dropdown list.

C. External Profile Information (Optional) You may skip this section, which includes:
❌ Google Scholar ID
❌ Semantic Scholar ID
❌ DBLP ID
❌ ORCID ID
❌ OpenReview ID

Once all required fields are completed, click "Register" at the bottom of the page.

Step 3

Step 3: Verify Your Email

✅ Check Your Email: Open your inbox (or check your spam/junk folder) for a verification email from CMT.
✅ Click the Verification Link: Click the link in the email to confirm your email address.
✅ Log In to CMT: Once verified, return to the CMT platform and log in using your registered email and password.

Step 4

Step 4: Select the SCECSAL 2025 Conference

✅ Go to "All Conferences": After logging in, click on "All Conferences" in the top navigation menu.
✅ Search for the Conference: In the search bar, type "XXVII SCECSAL Conference 2025" or "SCECSAL 2025".
✅ Select the Conference: Click on the conference name from the search results to open the SCECSAL 2025 Conference page.
